Cardiovascular Precautions for Cannabinoids:

Nabilone:

Elevates supine and standing heart rates and causes postural hypotension, it should be use with caution in elderly and in patients with hypertension and heart disease. Adverse Reactions: Cardiovascular: Hypotension and tachycardia

THC:CBD:

Cannabinoids have cardiovascular effects that include tachycardia, and transient changes in blood pressure, including episodes of postural hypotension. Use of SATIVEX® is not recommended in patients with pre-existing cardiovascular disease, such as ischaemic heart disease, arrhythmias, poorly controlled hypertension or severe heart failure.

Dronabinol:

Precautions: Heart disease and cardiac disorders Use with caution in patients with cardiac disorders because of occasional hypotension, possible hypertension, syncope or tachycardia.

Cannabis:

Cannabinoids cause postural hypotension, but tolerance to the cardiovascular effects develops rapidly and together with adverse effects would preclude their consideration as a treatment for long-term use in hypertension Marihuana should be used with caution in patients with cardiac disorders because of occasional hypotension, possible hypertension, syncope, or tachycardia.
