Membership with the CCIC

CCIC membership is your gateway to a diverse group of healthcare practitioners and researchers with an interest in cannabis and cannabinoid therapeutics that advocates for unbiased, evidence-based education in this field.

The Canadian cannabis landscape post-legalization is in its infancy and the need for a reliable high-quality education on the most current information on cannabis is essential to all healthcare practitioners and their patients considering cannabis or cannabinoids as a treatment option.

The CCIC encourages inclusivity and offers a variety of categories of membership. Please explore below to learn more about our membership categories and benefits of membership or read our FAQs.

hidden
Is the membership fee annual or a one time fee?

The membership fee is an annual fee. In order to continue serving as Canada’s trusted resource for evidence-based research, and delivering the same high calibre educational program and networking opportunities we have in the past, it is vital that we seek ongoing support from our community.

What is your membership refund policy?

CCIC will not provide refunds for membership fees, except in special cases such as double payment. Refund requests for special cases within two business days of payment may be sent to info@ccic.net for determination.

What is the benefit to joining the CCIC?

In addition to supporting the CCIC in continuing to bring a high calibre of educational programs and networking opportunities, you will receive a number of valuable benefits, which you can see here.

What if I don't meet any of the category criteria, but I still want to join the CCIC?

Please send an email to info@ccic.net describing your interest in joining the CCIC for further determination.

What is the difference between full and associate members?

Full members of the CCIC are individuals that are licensed, active, healthcare professionals, researchers and educators from recognized institutions who support our mission and initiatives. Associate members are individuals permitted to join the organization who do not meet the definitions of active full membership as described above and therefore, do not have voting privileges.
